Plumber in Aurora, Illinois: Hydro-Jetting, Emergency Repair & Drain Cleaning

What a Aurora technician checks first

• Clay-soil movement at lateral joints.
• Winter freeze in suburban laterals.
• Sump overload during heavy rain and thaw.

First the technician locates the cleanout and the lowest affected fixture, then runs CCTV to map the problem section. Only then is the nozzle and pressure matched to what the camera found, and the result is shown on camera afterwards.

Common Aurora plumbing problems

Most Aurora calls fall into three patterns: clay-soil movement at lateral joints, winter freeze in suburban laterals, and sump overload during heavy rain and thaw. Each points to a different section of pipe, so the fix is chosen from camera evidence for that section, not from a generic clog treatment.

Questions Aurora customers ask

Why do drains keep backing up in Aurora?
Because clay-soil movement at lateral joints and winter freeze in suburban laterals tend to return after a cable-only clear. Jetting cleans the pipe wall itself, and the post-cleaning camera shows whether the diameter is restored.

Is hydro-jetting safe for older Aurora pipes?
It is safe when the pipe is inspected first and pressure and nozzle are matched to the material the camera found. That inspection step is why CCTV comes before jetting on every mainline job.
